AI Alumni MeetingAI Privacy Policy

What the app accesses in your Google account, what it does with it, and how to remove that access.

Last updated: October 2, 2026

This policy covers AI Alumni MeetingAI ("the app"), a Windows desktop application published by 6AM Solutions Inc. ("we"). It applies only to the app, not to the rest of sixam.ca, and it describes the app as it actually works.

Google user data the app accesses

The app requests a single Google OAuth scope: https://www.googleapis.com/auth/drive.file. This scope only covers files and folders the app creates, or that you explicitly select with Google's folder picker. The app cannot list, read or change any other file in your Google Drive. It does not request your contacts, email, calendar or any other Google data. From your Google account it receives only what Google returns for that scope, plus the access and refresh tokens needed to use it.

How the app uses that data

  • to let you choose a destination folder in Google Drive
  • to upload meeting transcripts, and optionally meeting videos, into that folder
  • to confirm that each upload arrived complete, by comparing it with the local file
  • to put a link to the uploaded transcript into the draft summary

Google user data is used only to provide these features, which you can see and control. It is not used for advertising, it is not sold, and it is not used to train any AI or machine learning model.

Where processing happens

Transcription and summarization run entirely on your own computer, using a local Whisper model and a local Ollama model with its cloud features switched off. Meeting audio, video and transcripts are not sent to any AI provider or to us. We do not operate a server for the app and we do not receive copies of your files or your tokens.

How data is stored and protected

  • OAuth tokens are encrypted on your computer with Windows DPAPI, tied to your own Windows user account, and are never written to disk in plain text.
  • The app's queue, logs and working files stay in a private folder in your Windows profile.
  • Files uploaded to Google Drive are stored by Google under your account and are governed by Google's own privacy policy.

Sharing and disclosure

We do not share, transfer or disclose Google user data to anyone. The only data the app sends outside your computer and Google Drive is the draft meeting summary and a link to the transcript, which go to Telegram so the person running the app can review them, and, after that person approves it, to the Telegram group the app is set up to post to. Nothing is posted without that approval.

Limited Use

The app's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

Retention and deletion

Transcripts and videos in your Drive stay there until you delete them. Local working files can be removed by uninstalling the app and deleting its folder in your Windows profile, which also deletes the encrypted tokens. To revoke the app's access to Google, open your Google Account, go to Security, then Third-party apps and services, and remove AI Alumni MeetingAI. Revoking access stops all further uploads immediately.

Children

The app is not directed at children under 13 and is not intended for their use.

Changes

If the way the app handles Google user data changes, we will update this page and the date at the top before the change takes effect.
