These terms apply to AI Alumni MeetingAI ("the app"), a Windows desktop application published by 6AM Solutions Inc. ("we"). By installing or using the app you agree to them.
What the app is for
The app transcribes meeting recordings on your computer, drafts a summary, stores the transcript in a Google Drive folder you choose, and lets you approve the summary before it is posted to Telegram. It is provided free of charge to members of the AI Alumni Collaboration group.
Your responsibilities
- Record, transcribe and share a meeting only with the consent of its participants and in line with the laws that apply to you.
- Review every draft summary before approving it. The summary is produced by an AI model and may be incomplete or wrong.
- Keep your Windows account and Google account secure, since the app relies on both.
- Do not use the app for any unlawful purpose.
Your content
Your recordings, transcripts and summaries remain yours. We claim no rights over them and do not receive copies of them. Their storage in Google Drive and Telegram is also subject to those services' own terms.
Google access
The app uses only the Google Drive access you grant, as described in the Privacy Policy. You can revoke it at any time from your Google Account, and the app stops working with Drive when you do.
No warranty
The app is provided "as is", without warranty of any kind. We do not guarantee that it will be error-free, uninterrupted, or that transcripts and summaries will be accurate.
Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, 6AM Solutions Inc. is not liable for any indirect or consequential loss, or for any loss arising from inaccurate transcripts or summaries, missed uploads, or content posted after you approved it.
Ending use
You may stop using the app at any time by uninstalling it and revoking its Google access. We may stop providing or updating the app at any time.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada that apply there.
Changes
We may update these terms. The date at the top shows when they last changed, and continued use after a change means you accept the new terms.
